Review My Work

Certain works were created with Starr Restaurants and Philly Art Center - I do not claim ownership of any photography or existing logos

Event Menus

Restaurants regularly requested menus for special events, often with just a day’s notice. I chose to combine new and existing elements to create something cohesive with the brand, yet original.

Logos

What I love about a logo is that it’s born from conversation and understanding - what does the client value, what colors call to them, what elements are important to them, and what do they want to communicate?

Signage

I truly love signage and it is so important! You’ve got one (initial) chance to catch someone’s eye while communicating the most important details. From postcards to posters, I balance shapes, colors, and text to create an interesting and informative design.

Faceplates

For Starr Restaurants’ massive gift card program, I redesigned the digital faceplates for almost every restaurant. I used existing photography and assets to evoke a fresh expression of the brand. My favorites of the bunch are below, and the rest can be seen on their website here.

Visualized Information

Visualizing information is like a puzzle - how can I make the information as readable and engaging as possible, within the established confines of the project (length of provided copy, brand requirements, physical space, etc.)? I do love a puzzle! Not to mention, I was thrilled to be specifically asked to design the holiday dessert order form for Le Café Louis Vuitton in New York City.

Menu Redesign

The Lounge’s double-sided, 4.25” x 11” menu no longer accommodated their offerings, nor reflected their style. They requested an updated menu in an 8.5” x 11”, booklet-style format. Incorporating a few existing elements, I enhanced their 70’s style to create the fun and flowing menu below, which is only one of the three designs they chose.

Graphics

To increase Philly Art Center’s social media presence and the public’s understanding of their pedagogy, I used their provided copy to design the series below. I wanted to ensure there was an approachable whimsicality to the post; kid-friendly and fun, but extremely thoughtful.

The Krull Wedding

With just 3 months and a $10,000 budget, I planned the Krull’s wedding from start to finish - invites, accommodations, vendors, decor, set-up, and tear-down, as well as designing a logo that was embroidered on sweatshirts for the bridal party. Held at Paradise Lavender Farm, photos by Mason Wieser.
