Menus: Before + After
Thanksgiving at The Clocktower
After
✿ Client The Clocktower in New York, New York
✿ Context Their 5.5” x 8.5” prix fixe Thanksgiving menu template had some spacing, flow, and consistency issues
✿ Care Within the same size, I reformatted the offerings to clearly reflect the prix fixe vs. á la carte options, ensured spacing was consistent, and added a classy box to better match the restaurant’s “contemporary London” aesthetic
✿ Conclusion The restaurant was happy with the update, and guests had a better dining experience

Outgrowing at Frankford Hall
Before
After (Beverage)
✿ Client Frankford Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
✿ Context With both food and beverages on the same 6” x 11” menu, the “German biergarten’s” extensive beer collection had long outgrown its page
✿ Care By creating separate menus for food and beverages, at the original size, there was ample room for all offerings to shine. I also updated the item treatments to be consistent across both menus
✿ Conclusion The restaurant was able to expand their offerings even further and promote upcoming events within the added “Happenings” box, and guests had an easier time seeing what was available

Revamping at The Lounge
Before
✿ Client The Lounge at LMNO in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
✿ Context Their offerings needed to more closely match those of their parent Mexican restaurant, LMNO. Their double-sided, 4.25” x 11” menu couldn’t accommodate that, and needed a style update
✿ Care In the same style as LMNO’s existing, 8.5” x 11” booklet-style beverage menu, I created the below. Using some fonts and design elemnst from the OG, but with a modern update
✿ Conclusion The restaurant was so pleased they moved forward with two different colorways/covers than below
